Public Channels
MeshCore supports topic-based public channels — named spaces where people can have focused conversations separate from the default public channel. The default public channel is where most general activity happens, but channels let the community organize around specific topics, locations, and interests without cluttering the main feed. Note that public channels are not encrypted.
You have a few options for how to join our Bay Area channels:
- Enter the channel name and its key in the MeshCore app under More menu › Add Channel › Join a Hashtag Channel.
- Scan the QR code below for each channel in the MeshCore app under More menu › Add Channel › Scan QR Code.
- Or, add all the channels at once by downloading the channels import file and import it directly into the MeshCore app under Settings › Import Config.
